Shipping times

Your purchase will be shipped out from our warehouse within 3-5 business days, and is shipped accordingly to the option you chose at the time of order. Once we have shipped your order it is out of our control as to how long the shipping company takes to deliver the product. If your order is going into the USA there may be a delay going through customs that can effect your delivery time. We do however ship a fair amount into the USA and it is not often we see a delay. Please allow 10-20 days for any shipment to arrive to you from the date of your order.

Shipping costs

While our system communicates with FedEx and calculates a shipping rate based on what they give us, there are times when the amount quoted, and the amount they charged us is different, in which case we would contact you the customer the pay the difference. We do ship a lot of product and have come to know when the FedEx’s quotes are off from what they should be, and when we catch this we contact FedEx directly to make sure we have an accurate quote. If there is a significant difference between the automated quote on our shopping cart and the quote we received directly, we will contact you to confirm if you wish to proceed with the order or cancel it for a full refund.

Any orders over $200 USD going into the USA are subject to a $75 brokerage fee. This is not a fee we make money on, but are charged when orders enter the USA. We can help avoid this fee in most cases. If you are in the USA and your order (product only) is over $200 USD and wish to avoid this fee please contact us by email or phone about your order, and we will see what we can do.

Quotes on shipping for Orders over 150 lbs

At this time we cannot quote you a shipping rate on any product over 150 lbs on the shopping cart. All orders over 150 lbs need to be custom quoted. This is because the quoting system on the shopping cart uses parcel shipping rates from FedEx as most of our orders are under 150 lbs and this is the best rate for shipments of that weight. All orders over 150lbs we quote using freight rates either through FedEx for shipments in the USA or freight companies like Kindersley Transport for shipments across Canada. Please contact us for a shipping quote request for all orders over 150 lbs.
